Cape-twirling

As of late last night, I think I know who the villain is.  Surprise!  That’s the way it happened in Spite, too, the villain volunteered and then I had to figure out why/access/how etc… and they have to be introduced early, even just in passing, otherwise crime-writing is cheating.  I think that’s a Golden Era golden rule.  So okay, today is for figuring out links and opportunites, and for closing in on the 25 000 mark.
