It’s official: Genetta Blaise is my new favourite character. I don’t know if she’s blonde but she’s a lot like Holly H Kincaid, except shorter, older and far more chic… wears pearls with her combat boots and drinks Brandy Alexanders. Hmm, must be a resemblance of spirit. She has this lovely line -
“Yoghurt in the fridge is all well and good, but when it comes to commitment nothing says it better than laundry-day knickers left lying around.”
Ah, Gen.
And look! I owe me a new book for reaching the 25 000 mark. Ahead of schedule, too. Wonder if the sale is still on at the bookshop with the loyalty program?
